Asta von Unger (*1970, Frankfurt am Main) studied German and Italian
Philology, Art History, as well as Philosophy at the Ruhr Universität Bochum, Germany,
spending one Erasmus Year at the University of Bologna, Italy. Between 2006
and 2010 she studied Visual Art at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in
Munich. Since 1993 she has been exhibiting in several Group- and Solo
shows in Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In February 2010 she was awarded
Master Scholar of Prof. Günther Förg. Asta von Unger lives and works in
Munich. She founded the art platform wunderkammaa together with the curator Dr. Annika Schoemann 2021.
