Installation (swimming pool, milk, stereo sound) 3.30 min.
The installation is not lit. The viewer only sees what is hit by the light of his flashlight. The room seems like an old attic filled with boxes, scraped heaters, doors, old mirrors and the like. But soon the viewer stumbles across a swimming pool. The water is white, like milk. In the middle there’s a body drifting. Bob Dylan floats in the milk his black Cowboy hat next to him. He’s wearing a black suit. A voice can be heard. And tells about a childhood memory of falling into a pool without being able to swim. And about an unexpected felling of comfort.
Installation (Swimmingpool, Milch, Stereo Ton) 3.30 Min. Die Installation ist nicht beleuchtet. Der Betrachter sieht nur, was er mit dem Licht seiner Taschenlampe erfasst. Der Raum erscheint wie ein alter Dachboden, voll gestellt mit Kisten, ausrangierten Heizkörpern, Türen, alten Spiegeln und dergleichen. Doch bald stößt der Betrachter auf einen Swimmingpool. Das Wasser des Pools ist weiß, wie Milch. In der Mitte schwimmt ein Körper. Bob Dylan treibt auf dem Rücken in der Milch, neben ihm sein schwarzer Cowboy-Hut. Er trägt einen schwarzen Anzug. Eine Stimme ist zu hören. Sie erzählt von der Kindheitserinnerung eines Sturzes in einen Pool ohne Schwimmen zu können. Und einem unerwartetem Gefühl des Trosts.

Der Betrachter kann am Ende eines engen und niedrigen Ganges seinen Kopf durch eine Öffnung in der Gangdecke stecken und findet sich in einem auf dem Kopf stehenden PKW wieder.
Nur die Frontscheinwerfer leuchten im dicken Nebel, der das Auto umgibt und es unmöglich macht, die Ausmaße des Raums zu erkennen.
Motorengeräusch, auf das Autodach prasselnder Regen und quietschende Scheibenwischer sind zu hören.
Und ein Gespräch von Bob Dylan und Daniel Permanetter. Über die Müdigkeit, das Radio und die Angst vor der Dunkelheit.
At the end of a narrow and low passage the viewer can stick his head through an opening in the ceiling and finds himself in a car turned upside down. Only the headlights illuminate the thick fog that surrounds the car and makes it impossible to make out the actual size of the room.
The sound of an engine, rain falling onto the car roof and squeaking windscreen wipers can be heard.
And a conversation of Bob Dylan and Daniel Permanetter. About tiredness, the radio and the fear of darkness.
„Stuck Inside Of Munich With The Homesick Blues Again“ 2008

Daniel Permanetter brüllt seinen eigenen Text über einen Song von Bob Dylan. "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again" wird zu "Stuck Inside Of Munich With The Homesick Blues Again". Dies tut er mit Hilfe eines "Sing Along"-Kassettenspielers für Kinder. Und er tut es im Fernsehstüberl seiner Großmutter, im Hintergrund begleitet von einer verschwommenen Diashow, in der sich plakativ touristische und sozial-politische Bilder von München mit Aufnahmen aus dem Familienalbum mischen.
Daniel Permanetter screams his own lyrics over a song of Bob Dylan. "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again" becomes "Stuck Inside Of Munich With The Homesick Blues Again". He does that by using a sing along tape deck for children. And he does it in the TV room of his grandmother, accompanied in the background by a blurred slide show with touristic and social political images of Munich.

Die Ikone der Pop Musik Bob Dylan und der unbekannte Künstler Daniel Permanetter sitzen scheinbar zufällig nebeneinander auf der Rückbank eines voll besetzten Busses und fahren durch die Nacht.
Daniel erzählt Bob unaufgefordert von einem immer wiederkehrenden Traum, in dem ihm auf dem Weg zur Arbeit sein Herz durch den Mund heraus fällt. Dann fragt er den stummen Bob direkt, ob auch er träume.
The pop icon Bob Dylan and the unknown artist Daniel Permanetter are seemingly by accident sitting side by side in the backseat of a bus full of people, driving through the night.
Without request, Daniel tells Bob about a recurring dream in which his heart falls out of his mouth on his way to work. Then he asks the silent Bob if he was dreaming too sometimes.
"Mr. Dylan's Room" 2005

The icon of pop music Bob Dylan enters a hotel room. The unknown artist Daniel enters a room, takes a seat and picks up the phone. He dials a number and asks a receptionist to put him trough to Mr. Dylan’s room. The telephone in Dylan’s hotel room rings and he picks it up. Daniel says hello but Bob doesn’t answer. Daniel keeps talkin’ until Bob finally hangs up without having said a word.
Die Popmusik-Ikone Bob Dylan betritt ein Hotelzimmer. Der unbekannte Künstler Daniel Permanetter betritt ein Zimmer, setzt sich und nimmt den Telefonhörer ab. Er wählt eine Nummer und bittet einen Empfangschef, ihn zum Zimmer von Hr. Dylan durchzustellen. Das Telefon in Dylans Zimmer läutet und er nimmt ab. Daniel sagt Hallo, aber Bob antwortet ihm nicht. Daniel spricht weiter bis Bob schließlich auflegt ohne ein Wort gesagt zu haben.
